Asking the copilot about your revenue
How to ask questions, what the answers contain, and how the copilot keeps every number honest.
Open Copilot from the sidebar and type a question the way you would ask a colleague: "Why did MRR drop last week?", "How much is overdue right now?", "Who are my top customers by revenue?"
The copilot reads your question, decides which of your own reports and metrics can answer it, runs those queries, and writes back a short answer. Working through a question usually takes a few seconds; you can leave the page and the answer will be waiting in the thread when you return.
What an answer contains
- The finding. One headline sentence with the key figure, taken directly from your data.
- A chart or table when the data has a shape worth seeing, drawn from the actual query results.
- The explanation, with numbered references. Each reference links to the real record, so "your biggest cancellation was Acme Corp" is one click from Acme Corp's page.
- Sources. Every record the answer relies on, listed at the bottom.
- How I got this. Expand it to see exactly which queries ran, in plain words.
- Follow-up suggestions you can tap to keep digging.
How it keeps numbers honest
The copilot plans the queries, but all the arithmetic happens in the same reporting engine behind your reports page. Before an answer reaches you, every referenced record is re-checked against your data. A reference that does not check out is removed; if none of them check out, the copilot shows the underlying table instead of the claim. If a headline figure does not match the query results, the answer carries a visible "verify against the records" flag.
Questions and your plan
Each answered question counts once toward your monthly allowance, no matter how many queries it takes. A question that fails does not count. The meter in the sidebar shows where you stand and when the allowance resets. The copilot is part of the Grow plan and up.
