Subscriptions
A subscription is a customer's ongoing agreement to pay for one or more products on a schedule. This chapter covers the shape of a subscription's life: the states it moves through, how trials work, how to pause and resume it, and how to cancel it.
Mid-cycle changes to price and quantity have their own chapter, proration and mid-cycle changes. Billing dates and how the first period is shaped live in the billing timing chapter.
