A saved view is a named snapshot of how a list is set up: the tab, the search, the filters, the sort, and the columns you have visible. Set up "EU customers, by MRR" once, save it, and it is one click away from then on instead of five filter changes.

## Saving a view

Arrange the list the way you want, open the **Views** menu in the toolbar, and choose **Save current view**. Give it a name and save. The view appears in the menu, and the menu button shows the view's name whenever the list matches it.

A view captures:

- The tab you are on (Active, Archived, and so on)
- The search box
- Any filters, including custom field filters
- The sort column and direction
- Which columns are visible, and in what order

## Applying, renaming, and deleting

Pick a view from the Views menu to apply it. The view you are on gets a check mark. Hover a view in the menu to rename it in place or delete it. Deleting asks you to confirm first, because it cannot be undone.

## Views are personal, links are shareable

Saved views are yours alone. A teammate looking at the same list sees their own views, not yours.

The setup itself travels in the page address, though. Applying a view puts the whole state in the URL, so you can copy the address and send it to a teammate. They see the same rows, filters, and columns without needing your saved view.

## Where views are available

Every list with the full toolbar has them: customers, subscriptions, invoices, the catalog, and every [custom module](/guide/custom-fields/custom-modules) list.

## Edge cases

- **Up to 24 saved views per list.** Past that, delete one before saving another.
- **Names can be up to 60 characters.** A longer name is shortened to fit.
- **No duplicate names on one list.** Saving or renaming to a name you already use on that list is rejected; pick another name.
- **Adjusting columns does not switch views.** The active check mark follows the tab, search, filters, and sort. Showing or hiding a column while a view is active does not drop the mark.
- **Removed fields drop out quietly.** If a custom field column in a view is deleted later, the view still applies and the missing column simply disappears.
