Any list can be downloaded as a CSV file. The export matches what you see: the same rows, the same filters and search, the same sort, and the same visible columns. Set the list up, export it, and the file reads like the screen.

## Exporting

Open the **Views** menu in the list toolbar and choose **Export to CSV**. The file downloads right away, named after the list and the day, like `customers-2026-07-12.csv`.

The main lists also offer **Export all columns**. It keeps your rows, filters, and sort, but writes every available column, including custom fields, not just the ones you have visible. Use it when another tool needs the full record.

## Which lists export

Customers, subscriptions, invoices, the catalog, coupons, meters, credit notes, and every [custom module](/guide/custom-fields/custom-modules) list. The smaller lists (coupons, meters, credit notes) offer the plain export; the others offer both variants.

## Limits and safety

- **An export stops at 10,000 rows.** If more rows match, the last line of the file is a note saying how many rows matched and that the file was cut, so nothing is dropped silently. Narrow your filters and export again for the rest.
- **Spreadsheet formulas are neutralized.** A cell that starts with a character spreadsheets treat as a formula, such as `=` or `+`, is prefixed with a quote so it opens as plain text. A crafted value in your data cannot run a formula on your machine when you open the file.
- **Custom field columns export their display text.** The file shows the same value you see in the list, not an internal id.

> [!NOTE]
> This export covers one list at a time. A full account export, everything at once, is on the roadmap; see [Exporting data](/guide/import/exporting-data).
